The present Aurora Town Hall officially opened on November 24, 1991. It is located at 100 John West Way, one block north of Wellington Street East between Bayview Avenue and Industrial Parkway. It was designed and constructed to meet the future needs of the town.
In addition to regular Council meetings, a number of other monthly meetings are held in the Council Chambers, i.e. Council, General Committee and Public Planning. The Council Chamber is also used for special meetings and events such as Citizen of the Year Awards and public information sessions. The Town Hall also has a number of other meeting rooms that are available for public use. This is the workplace for staff of the various departments that serve Council and the residents of Aurora. Please feel free to visit the Town Hall and enjoy its surrounding park area.
