The Aurora Promenade

[ppm:alt id=1995]The Town of Aurora initiated The Aurora Promenade - Yonge & Wellington Corridor Study in March 2009.

The firm of The Planning Partnership external link has been retained to prepare the study, in association with strategic advisors from Poulos & Chung (transportation engineers) and E.R.A. Architects external link (heritage architects). The team from The Planning Partnership has completed similar studies for urban centres such as Oshawa, Nepean, Richmond Hill, Belleville, Halifax and Lethbridge.

Phased Approach

The work program is organized in four (4) phases that will be completed through a process that engages the entire community.

The four (4) phases include:

  1. Inventory and Analysis
  2. Options
  3. Corridor Report
  4. Secondary Plan
